Hey, how’s my swing? Good form? Honestly, I wouldn’t know…I’m not a golfer in real life. But in SL, I can tell you that it’s tons of fun. So if you’re looking for something to do in SL, I recommend that you head over to Holly Kai and pick up some gear…take some friends, and get ready to learn a very serious game of virtual golf. How serious is it? Well, there are tournaments and trophys involved. Head to the clubhouse and see for yourself! Maybe you’ll want to earn one, eh? Take the slurl above. It will land you at the board you need to start with. Grab the tutorial notecards, READ them, and then grab the necessary free HUDs and wear them. Again, READ the boards and notecards. Then, dash over to the other side of the clubhouse and purchase a voucher for green fees. For $250 L you get 3 hours of playtime. (take note, once you start the countdown timer, there is no pausing it, it’s a one time shot…but at this price, not too bad) However, I suggest you join the group because then the fee is lowered to $165 L. An advantage to joining group is that it is a great way to find others to play a few rounds with and to learn about upcoming events and competitions. But don’t worry, it’s not a spam heavy or chat heavy group…I’ve been a member for months and haven’t found it to be a problem. Need help?
